The Role

As a National Heavy Plant Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Mobile Plant Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of heavy plant and construction equipment
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and diesel faults
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
• Attending customer sites across the UK to provide professional field-based engineering support
• Working on equipment such as excavators, telehandlers, dumpers, loaders, rollers, dozers and other construction plant
• Managing your own workload, parts and travel as an experienced Mobile Plant Engineer
• Providing excellent customer service and ensuring machinery is returned to operation safely and efficiently

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Heavy Plant Engineer, Plant Fitter, Field Service Engineer, Mobile Plant Engineer or Heavy Equipment Technician
• NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance or similar (Preferred)
• Strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic fault-finding skills
• Experience working on construction plant, heavy equipment or agricultural machinery
• A self-motivated engineer who enjoys working independently and solving technical problems
• Full UK driving licence
• Flexibility to travel nationwide
