Welder Fabricator

We are recruiting for an experienced Fabricator Welder for an established company in Droitwich.
As a Fabricator/Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and MIG welding heavy-gauge steel (up to 20mm) to a high standard. You will work from detailed engineering drawings and specifications to ensure all products are manufactured to the highest quality standards.
The successful candidate will have experience using 1.2mm welding wire when working on large, heavy equipment. Experience with plasma cutting, oxy-acetylene cutting and manual press brake operations would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
Fabricate and MIG weld heavy-gauge steel components
Interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings
Manufacture products in line with company specifications and quality standards
Maintain a safe and organised working environment
Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Experience
Minimum 4 years experience as a Welder/Fabricator (essential)
Minimum 2 years experience working with commercial vehicles (desired)

Pay and Benefits
Competitive hourly rate of 14.00 - 17.50 per hour, dependent on experience and trade test
