• Compile and submit comprehensive tender packages in line with client specifications and project requirements
• Work closely with project engineers, designers, and project managers to define scope and resolve technical queries
• Identify value engineering opportunities while assessing and highlighting potential risks and commercial considerations
• Support the transition from tender stage to project delivery, ensuring clear understanding of scope and costs
• Stay informed on market rates, emerging technologies, and best practices within the process and industrial sectors
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of estimating tools, systems, and cost databases

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in estimating within the process, manufacturing, or wider industrial sectors
• Solid understanding of electrical installations in process environments, including MCCs, control panels, hazardous area systems, and containment solutions
• Good working knowledge of relevant electrical standards and regulations such as BS7671 and ATEX
• Experience using estimating software packages (e.g. Trimble/Amtech, ConQuest, or similar tools)
• Ability to interpret and work from complex technical drawings, specifications, and documentation
• Strong commercial awareness, with well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills

What We Offer

• A competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package that reflects the importance of this role
• A company that genuinely prioritises employee wellbeing, creating a supportive and inclusive working environment
• Clear opportunities for career progression and professional development within a successful and growing business with exciting future plans
