Hours: Monday - Friday 13:00 - 21:00

Hampshire County Council are looking for a cleaner to clean and maintain their Winchester offices.

What you'll do:

Based at Hampshire County Council's head offices, you will have a wide variety of buildings to work in, from the home of King Arthur's round table, The Great Hall, to the more modern accommodation of Hampshire Records Office and the Council's head offices at Elizabeth II Court. The successful candidate under the direction of the Facilities Officer will support the delivery of a defined customer focused, effective, safe, clean and secure FM services for Hampshire County Council office accommodation.

• Ability to cover main duties without constant supervision.
• Seek guidance when appropriate.
• Able to address the moving and handling requirements of the role.
• Some role holders may be required to contribute to shift patterns.
• It may be a requirement of the role holder to deal with confidential information and a strict regard for confidentiality is essential.

Working Conditions :

• Regular lifting and manual handling, movement of waste around the site.
• Lone working.
• Personal protective equipment including FM uniform for front line staff
• Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)
