Financial Controller

SuccessfulSMEbasedinNorthWalsham,islookingtoappointanexperiencedfinanceprofessionalintoabroadandhands-onrolewithinthebusiness.

Workingcloselywiththeseniorleadershipteam,thesuccessfulcandidatewillberesponsibleforprovidingaccuratefinancialinformation,maintainingstrongcontrolsandsupportingthecommercialperformanceofthebusiness.

MainDuties

• Preparemonthlymanagementaccounts,P&L,balancesheet,cashflowandKPIreports.
• Leadbudgeting,forecastingandyear-endprocesses.
• Analysefinancialperformance,variancesandtrends.
• Monitormanufacturingcosts,labour,stock,WIPandproductprofitability.
• Supportcost-savinginitiativesandimprovementstooperationalefficiency.
• Managecashflow,debtors,creditorsandworkingcapital.
• Maintainstrongfinancialcontrolsandensurestatutoryandtaxcompliance.
• Coordinatetheannualauditandliaisewithexternaladvisers.
• Manageanddevelopthefinanceteam.
• Workwithoperationalmanagerstoimprovefinancialawarenessandaccountability.
• Providefinancialanalysistosupportinvestment,commercialandstrategicdecisions.
• SupporttheManagingDirectorinidentifyingbusinessrisksandopportunities.

Skills&Experience

• ACA,ACCAorCIMAqualified,orqualifiedbyexperience.
• Atleastthreeyears'relevantfinanceexperience.
• Previousexperiencewithinamanufacturingenvironment.
• Strongmanagementaccounting,costaccountingandinventoryknowledge.
• Commerciallymindedwithstronganalyticalandbusinesspartneringskills.
• Comfortableworkingindependentlyinahands-onSMEenvironment.
