Sales Support & Customer Service Coordinator

Location: Braintree

We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Sales Support & Customer Service Coordinator to join our client's growing team in Braintree. This is a varied position that will play a key role in supporting customers, assisting the sales and estimating teams, and ensuring a smooth flow of information between customers and production.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, providing outstanding customer service, and working collaboratively within a busy office environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a first point of contact for customers, handling enquiries via phone and email in a professional and friendly manner.
• Support the sales and estimating teams with quotations, customer information, and administrative tasks.
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all details are communicated to the relevant departments.
• Liaise closely with the production team to monitor order progress and provide customers with updates.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers by delivering excellent service and resolving queries promptly.
• Assist with preparing estimates, proposals, and sales documentation.
• Coordinate information between customers, suppliers, sales, and production teams to ensure projects run smoothly.
• Update and maintain customer records and internal systems.
• Provide general administrative support across the office when required.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a customer service, sales support, internal sales, or administrative role.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• A proactive approach and willingness to support different departments.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience supporting quotations, estimating, production planning, or order processing would be advantageous.
