Production Operative - (+5% Shift allowance)

Job Description:

As a Machine Operative , you will be responsible for operating production machinery and supporting the manufacturing process to ensure products are produced safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Your duties will include:

• Operating and monitoring manufacturing machinery in line with company procedures
• Loading and unloading materials and finished products
• Performing basic machine checks and reporting any faults or issues
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
• Assisting with general production duties as required
• Operating overhead cranes and forklift trucks following successful training
• Supporting production demands through overtime when required

Requirements:

• Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not essential
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills
• Ability to work safely and follow company procedures at all times
• Willingness to undertake training for overhead crane and forklift truck operation
• Flexible approach to work and willing to work overtime at short notice when required
• Good attention to detail and a proactive attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 15:00 - 23:30
• Friday: 15:00 - 22:30
• Overtime available and flexibility required to meet production demands
