This is a senior opportunity for an experienced SaLT who is passionate about supporting children and young people with complex SEMH needs, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and associated SEND. The role will combine direct therapeutic work with a wider leadership contribution across the service.
You will work closely with teaching staff, therapists, families and external professionals as part of a multidisciplinary approach, helping to ensure pupils receive high-quality, consistent therapeutic support. The organisation places therapists at the heart of its relationships-first approach to supporting pupils.
Key responsibilities include:

- Assessing pupils’ needs and contributing to EHCP targets and therapeutic progress plans
- Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists and other members of the multidisciplinary team
- Providing advice and therapeutic support to school staff and families
- Liaising with external professionals and other agencies

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified Speech and Language Therapist with appropriate professional registration and significant experience within their specialist field. Experience working with children or young people with SEND and complex needs is particularly important for this position.
You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, a strong understanding of child development, SEMH and SEND, and the ability to work collaboratively with families, education professionals and multidisciplinary colleagues.
This role would suit an experienced SaLT looking to take on greater responsibility within a specialist education environment, with the opportunity to contribute to therapeutic practice and leadership across multiple sites.
