Production Planner

Production Planner

Up to £50,000

Gloucester

Most planners inherit a system that works. You won't.

Our client is a fast-growing advanced composites manufacturer supplying aerospace, automotive, defence and space. It's scaling quickly, and the MRP system hasn't caught up. Routings are thin, work centre data has gaps, and capacity problems appear once you're already in them.

That's where you come in. Fix the data, get SYSPRO working properly, then use it to run the schedule across Gloucester and their Swindon site.

You'll:

• Own the master production schedule and give the manufacturing team clear work lists
• Check capacity and stock before delivery dates get promised
• Keep stores, subcontract and dispatch moving
• Flag slips early, with a recovery plan

You plan, a dedicated Buyer procures. Neither of you is doing two jobs.

You'll need:

• Hands-on production planning experience
• Real MRP/ERP skills (SYSPRO is a bonus)
• The nerve to hold a plan under pressure
• A full UK driving licence

Aerospace, automotive or defence experience helps.

It's a chance to build a planning function properly in a growing business, rather than maintain someone else's.

Fancy it? Click apply and our Senior Consultant Jack will be in touch to discuss this opportunity with you. </p
