An established and reputableMEP Contractor is looking to recruit an experiencedElectrical Project Manager to join their team, working on commercial projects across Central London.

The company has been established for over20 years , has a turnover of approximately25m , and specialises in delivering high-qualitycommercial CAT A and CAT B fit-out projects .

Projects are predominantly based in Central London, with typical MEP values ranging from1m to 7m .

The Role

As anElectrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the electrical package from commencement through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, to budget and to the required quality standards.

You will work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and the wider project team throughout the project lifecycle.

The role will include:

• Managing electrical packages on commercial CAT A & CAT B fit-out projects.
• Managing electrical subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Coordinating with clients, consultants and the wider project team.
• Managing programme, quality, health & safety and project delivery.
• Monitoring progress and resolving technical and project issues.
• Managing labour, materials and project resources.
• Working closely with the commercial team.
• Attending project meetings and providing regular project updates.
• Managing testing, commissioning and handover.

Requirements

The successfulElectrical Project Managerwill ideally have:

• Proven experience as anElectrical Project Managerwor king for an MEP / Building Services Contractor.
• Strong experience deliveringcommercial CAT A and/or CAT B fit-out projects .
• Experience managing electrical packages valued between1m and 7m .
• SMSTS qualification.
• A relevant electrical qualification, such asCity & Guilds, NVQ, HNC, HND or Degree.
• Qualifications inElectrical Installations, Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Strong understanding of electrical building services and MEP project delivery.
• Excellent communication, organisational and project management skills.
