We're looking for an experiencedLight Vehicle Technician to join a busy and professional workshop team in Burton upon Trent.

Working on a range ofvans and commercial vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes , you'll carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to the highest standards, helping to keep customers safely on the road.

What you'll be doing:

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on commercial vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes
• Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults
• Completing repairs to engines, transmissions, braking, steering and suspension systems
• Using manufacturer and aftermarket diagnostic equipment to identify faults
• Carrying out vehicle inspections and preparing vehicles for MOT
• Completing job cards and workshop documentation accurately
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop environment
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with manufacturer and health & safety standards
• Supporting colleagues to ensure workshop efficiency and excellent customer service

What we need:

• Previous experience as a Commercial Vehicle Technician, LCV Technician or Vehicle Technician
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Experience working on vans and commercial vehicles
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable skills:

• NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• Experience working on vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes
• Diagnostic and fault-finding experience using modern diagnostic equipment
• MOT Tester qualification (Class 4 and/or 7)
• Hybrid and EV awareness or training
• Familiarity with dealer management or workshop systems
