Customer Service and Sales Advisor (Trade Storage)

Are you a confident, customer-focused individual who enjoys a varied role combining customer service, sales and hands-on operational duties ?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Sales & FLT Advisor to join a successful and established business. Working as part of a small team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maximising sales opportunities and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the site.
This is a varied role, so we're looking for someone who is equally comfortable speaking with customers, handling administration and getting involved with practical, hands-on duties , including forklift operation.
Key Responsibilities

• Deal with customer enquiries both face-to-face and over the telephone
• Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate advice on products and services
• Identify and maximise sales opportunities to achieve individual and business targets
• Build strong relationships with new and existing customers
• Complete administration accurately and in line with company procedures
• Operate a forklift as required
• Carry out regular checks of the site and ensure standards are maintained
• Maintain a clean, tidy and professional working environment
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company policies
• Support with customer accounts and outstanding payments where required
• Work independently when required, including lone working
• Take responsibility for the site when required in the absence of management
• Assist with general operational and ad hoc duties

• Comfortable working independently and using their own initiative
• Practical and willing to get involved with the operational side of the role
• Reliable and confident following procedures
• Happy to work a 40hr week and weekends
• Ideally with a valid FLT licence but this can be trained

Previous experience in a customer-facing, sales, trade counter, branch, warehouse or operational environment would be advantageous.
This role would suit someone looking to combine their customer service and sales skills with a practical, hands-on working environment .
