First People Solutions are currently recruiting experienced Steel Fixers for an exciting project in Dumfries .

We are looking for skilled and dependable Steel Fixers to join a busy construction site, working with a reputable contractor. This is a great opportunity for experienced operatives seeking competitive rates and ongoing work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reading and interpreting reinforcement drawings
• Cutting, bending and fixing steel reinforcement
• Installing reinforcing bars and mesh to specification
• Working safely and efficiently to meet project deadlines
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site safety

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Steel Fixer
• Valid CSCS Card (Blue or Gold preferred)
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Own PPE and relevant tools
• Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
