Working Hours: 08:00 - 16:00
Pay Rate: 250 per day

Job Overview

Our client is currently working on a development of 7 new-build homes in Lingfield, Surrey , and is looking for an experienced 2nd Fix Carpenter to join the team for approximately one month.
The successful candidate will be responsible for completing high-quality second-fix carpentry works and must be confident working independently within a new-build environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install skirting boards and architraves.
• Fit door ironmongery, including handles, latches, locks and hinges.
• Install internal doors and associated fittings.
• Fit kitchen units and complete associated carpentry works.
• Install cabinets and bespoke shelving.
• Complete general second-fix carpentry and finishing works.
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship throughout the project.
• Work safely and efficiently while meeting project deadlines.

Requirements

• Valid Blue CSCS Card .
• Proven experience as a 2nd Fix Carpenter , ideally within new-build projects.
• Own tools suitable for second-fix carpentry.
• Full PPE.
• Reliable and hardworking attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider site team.
• Good attention to detail and a high standard of finish.
