Site Manager

Elvet Recruitment are recruiting aSite Manager to work on a Major Infrastructure project in Blyth.

The company have secured an initial contract of 2 years, with the view to extend to 10 as the scheme progresses.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Full management of site, reporting to and liaising with a Contracts Manager & Construction Director.
• Leading projects from early site setup through to handover.
• Ensure programmes are reviewed and updated.
• Completing daily site diaries.
• Ordering materials for site.
• Ensure RAMS are written and updated.
• Progress meetings with senior management and client.
• Overseeing direct delivery teams and sub-contractors.

Experience required:

Must have:

• Experience working as Site Agent or Site Manager.
• Experience managing projectsfrom cradle to grave.
• Detailed experience with:Foundations, RC Works, Heavy Civils
• SMSTS, Temporary Works, Appointed Person, First Aid.

Nice to have:

• Engineering background, working from Site Engineer to Site Agent.
• Degree qualified or HNC/HND qualified within civil engineering.

Remuneration:

On offer is a salary up to 70,000 (depending on experience) plus package. Or a freelance rate up to 400 per day
