We're looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join a small, friendly and supportive workshop team in Stansted.

The Role

As an HGV Technician, you'll play an important part in keeping vehicles safe, reliable and roadworthy.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs.
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
• Completing vehicle inspections and identifying any defects or additional repair requirements.
• Carrying out preventative maintenance to minimise vehicle downtime.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Maintaining accurate service records and repair documentation.
• Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive workshop environment.

What we're looking for

• Previous experience working as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician.
• Strong knowledge of HGV servicing, maintenance and repair.
• Good mechanical, electrical and hydraulic fault-finding skills.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a commitment to quality workmanship.
• A reliable team player who takes pride in delivering a job well done.
