In this Project Manager role, you will lead high-rise and high-risk social housing refurbishment contracts in Bristol and the Southeast. You’ll manage site teams, ensure health and safety and client standards, and coordinate with commercial and recruitment teams to keep projects flowing. You’ll travel as needed and play a pivotal part in expanding the Southern region with a reputable Tier 1 contractor. This is a hands-on role with clear progression opportunities and impactful, mission-aligned work.

Responsibilities
Lead a team of Site Managers, Tenant Liaison Officers and subcontractors to keep works running smoothly
Oversee refurbishment schemes for social housing in high-rise/high-risk settings
Manage pre-construction and construction stages for a key Bristol client
Ensure health & safety compliance meets client requirements across sites
Coordinate with the commercial team to provide project data and support ongoing workflows
Collaborate with Recruitment to grow the Southern region
Deliver Capitol and Retrofit works (re-cladding, roofing, EWI) across Bristol
Liaise with clients and stakeholders to manage expectations and quality standards
Travel and site stays as required, with expense management and diary control
Key requirements
Relevant social housing refurbishment knowledge - Retrofit, Refurbishment, Decarbonisation at an Operations Manager level
Experience on high-rise, mid-rise and high-risk projects, ideally in refurbishment and main contracting
