Overview

As part of the Global Macro team, you will own and manage a discretionary Emerging Markets fixed income alpha sleeve aligned with your process, contributing to client mandates across hedge funds and constrained portfolios. You’ll generate differentiated EM ideas and participate in firm-wide investment dialogue, helping to grow assets through client partnerships. The role blends independent execution with collaboration in a culture that emphasizes rigorous debate and talent development. Responsibilities

Manage a discretionary EM fixed income alpha sleeve within Global Macro
Generate differentiated investment ideas across EM fixed income
Contribute to Global Macro and firm-wide investment dialogue
Partner with sales and client functions to grow assets and relationships
Mentor high-potential investment talent within the team

Key requirements

10+ years of relevant EM fixed income experience with an attributable track record
Ability to scale risk across market environments
Strong investment philosophy and repeatable process for idea generation, decision-making, portfolio construction and risk management
Deep EM fixed income expertise (sovereign, corporate, local markets, rates, currencies, or related credit)
Fiduciary mindset and focus on client outcomes with high integrity
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and collaborative work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a global team
Self-reflective mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
Strong academic credentials, ideally including postgraduate or professional qualification
