In this role you will contribute to core development of a proprietary server and ultra-fast message bus within a high-performance trading technology environment. Responsibilities
Contribute to core development of a proprietary server technology
Work on a very-high-speed message bus in a real-time, low-latency environment
Collaborate with a team of experienced C++ programmers
Utilize modern compiler toolsets and OS APIs in demanding systems
Learn and apply C++ skills in a financial services context
Key requirements
Excellent C++ skills including STL/Boost and template-based design
2:1 or above Honours degree in mathematics, computer science or a comparable scientific discipline
At least 1 Science A level with strong results
Some development experience and a professional work approach
Interest in entering financial services or a high-tech, demanding environment
