Product Builder - Fintech

Overview

In this role you own end-to-end product initiatives in the Acquiring domain, from problem framing to prototyping and production delivery. You work within a small, autonomous team to ship impactful payment solutions and iterate based on real-user feedback. You’ll shape systems for card and alternative payments, the payment-facilitator layer, and ledger reporting, while leveraging AI to accelerate delivery. Your work supports a shift toward embedded, transparent, and cost-efficient hospitality payments, driving meaningful impact for hotels and guests.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of product initiatives in Acquiring—from problem framing to production and iteration
• Design and implement systems for card and alternative payments, the payment-facilitator layer, and ledger reporting
• Prototype solutions, demo to peers, and ship features with close feedback loops
• Leverage AI to accelerate development and establish reusable approaches across domains
• Establish reusable patterns and frameworks and coach others in adopting them
• Apply strong ownership and independent decision-making in a fast-growing, low-structure environment

Key requirements

• Seven or more years delivering customer-facing software with measurable business outcomes
• Hands-on experience using modern AI tooling (e.g., Claude, Cursor, or agent frameworks) as a core part of building
• Experience integrating a payment service provider or acquirer at scale (APIs, webhooks, idempotency, reconciliation)
• Strong product instincts and the ability to make product calls without ongoing PM/Designer input
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with ownership of end-to-end delivery
