Senior Data Protection Manager

Overview

In this role you will provide expert data protection guidance across IQ-EQ, shaping and operationalising the privacy program. You will partner with groups across the business, implement policies, and oversee risk management activities. You will lead DPIAs, audits, and training to embed privacy by design. This position is part of the Group Data Protection Team, supporting the Group DPO and driving compliance at scale. You will contribute to a culture of responsible data handling that underpins client trust and regulatory adherence.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on data protection compliance across the organisation
• Develop, implement, and maintain data protection policies and procedures
• Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments to identify improvements
• Engage stakeholders across departments to embed data protection principles
• Lead data protection impact assessments and advise on regulatory requirements
• Design and deliver training to promote awareness and best practices

Key requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience in data protection and privacy management
• Industry certifications such as IAPP CIPP/E, CIPM, or Practitioner Certificate in Data Protection
• Proven GDPR competency and knowledge of current data protection regulations
• Expert-level technical knowledge in developing and implementing data protection frameworks and policies
• Experience conducting compliance audits, risk assessments, and stakeholder engagement on data protection matters
