Cost Manager- Bristol, Cardiff & Plymouth

Overview

As a Cost Manager in Turner & Townsend’s UK Infrastructure team, you will support major transport and utilities projects, driving cost control and value delivery. You will collaborate with clients and contractor teams to monitor budgets, forecast costs, and manage change within governance. You’ll lead cost-related commercial activities across sectors, contributing to efficient project delivery and final accounts. This role offers exposure to high-profile infrastructure programmes and a chance to shape commercial outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive client and stakeholder relationships
• Administer contracts in line with project objectives and policies
• Provide accurate cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to budget
• Monitor cost variance and contract cash flow, ensuring timely, correct applications
• Collaborate with client and contractor teams on deliverables, KPIs, and value engineering
• Manage contract changes to stay within governance and best practices
• Improve forecast and budget accuracy
• Provide commercial knowledge and support to stakeholders
• Negotiate and settle final accounts
• Lead people and commissions as needed
