Senior Customer Success Manager, Financial Services

Overview

In this role, you drive product adoption and ongoing value for financial services clients, collaborating with the account team to boost net retention. You’ll understand clients’ workflows and translate needs into impactful solutions using AlphaSense’s platform. You’ll act as a trusted partner, shaping how professionals in asset management, investment banking, PE/VC, and hedge funds leverage AI-driven insights. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role at a fast-growing, entrepreneurial company.

Responsibilities

• Partner with GTM teams to align account strategies and goals
• Use internal data tools to monitor engagement and identify expansion opportunities
• Develop and refine financial services use cases and bespoke workflows
• Build strong client relationships across investment professionals and provide white-glove service
• Translate client feedback into product and content improvements and participate in betas
• Collaborate cross-functionally to communicate client needs to GTM, Product, and Content teams
• Support retention and long-term account success by detecting churn risk and driving value delivery

Key requirements

• Minimum 2 years of front-office investment banking experience across at least one product area (e.g., DCM, ECM, M&A, Leveraged Finance)
• Strong communication: outstanding oral, written, and presentation skills
• Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic, entrepreneurial team
• Empathetic, client-centric mindset with curiosity and willingness to learn
• Proven ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and translate technical solutions for business audiences
