Responsibilities

Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning to ensure robust, credible assumptions
Provide insightful financial guidance and challenge to senior leaders to shape strategic decisions
Analyze drivers of margin, volumes, bad debt, cost-to-serve, and working capital for informed decisions
Evaluate investments and commercial initiatives (digital, systems, transformation) balancing opportunity, return and risk
Translate strategy into sustainable growth and value through financial leadership across portfolio choices and operational efficiency

Key requirements

Fully qualified accountant with substantial post-qualification experience in commercial finance or business partnering
Strong understanding of business energy supply market and B2B customer economics, pricing, margin, cost-to-serve, credit risk, and working capital drivers
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders with clear insights and actionable recommendations
Advanced financial modelling, scenario analysis and performance insight capability
Ability to operate across Finance, commercial, operational and Group stakeholders in a complex, fast-moving environment
