The Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality childcare and early years education within a welcoming, luxury nursery environment.

Working alongside a dedicated childcare team, you will help create a safe, nurturing and stimulating setting where every child is supported to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality childcare and early years education.
• Support children's learning and development in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning activities.
• Encourage children's emotional, social, physical and educational development.
• Observe and monitor children's progress, maintaining accurate developmental records.
• Support children with daily routines, including meals, hygiene and personal care.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and carers.
• Promote children's independence, confidence and wellbeing.
• Maintain the nursery's high standards of cleanliness, safety and presentation.
• Follow safeguarding, child protection and health and safety procedures.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent standards of childcare.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must hold one of the following qualifications:

• Level 2 qualification in Childcare or Early Years , or
• Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years

Equivalent recognised qualifications will also be considered.

The successful candidate should also demonstrate:

• Previous experience working with children in a nursery or early years environment.
• Good knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to support children's individual learning and development needs.
• A genuine passion for delivering high-quality childcare.
