Consultant Radiologist Sub-specialty in Head and Neck Imaging

Overview

In this role you will join a proactive Consultant Radiology team to deliver a comprehensive imaging service with a focus on Head and Neck radiology. You will perform cross-sectional reporting, ultrasound of the head and neck including FNA and core biopsy, and contribute to a regional Head and Neck MDT. An on-call and duty imaging component adds variety and responsibility. The post sits within a large,-growing imaging department and supports patient care across multiple hospital sites.

Responsibilities

• Cross-sectional reporting in Head and Neck radiology
• Ultrasound of the head and neck with FNA and core biopsy
• Participation in Head and Neck MDT
• Acute Imaging/Duty Radiology component
• Coordinate with Clinical Director of Radiology on timetable and duties
• Support for clinical colleagues in providing comprehensive imaging services

Key requirements

• Full GMC Registration
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development including CME
• RCR Fellowship or equivalent
• Subspecialty training in Head and Neck Radiology
