Overview

You will lead change initiatives for business transformation projects across NHS Shared Business Services, focusing on readiness, adoption and benefits realisation. You will link project delivery with people and processes, enabling new services and ways of working with minimal disruption. You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders to understand impacts and design targeted interventions. This role offers the opportunity to shape transformation in a large, mission‑critical NHS context and contribute to lasting value.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement change management strategies and plans to maximise colleague adoption and embed change
Support client onboarding and transition activities with organisational readiness and stakeholder engagement
Assess change impacts and business readiness, present findings and tailor interventions to support adoption
Integrate change management activities into project delivery plans with project managers and operational leaders
Oversee training needs analysis and coordinate training to equip colleagues for change
Support benefits realisation planning and track outcomes to assess impact of change initiatives

Key requirements

Demonstrable experience of managing organisational change in a large or complex environment
Ability to assess impacts across people, process, technology and governance
Experience of business readiness assessments and readiness planning
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across all levels
Ability to identify adoption challenges and implement interventions to improve uptake
Experience of supporting benefits identification, measurement and realisation, and embedding change in delivery plans
