VP - Operating Model, Product & Client Solutions

Overview

In this role, you will lead operating model and product change from problem to deployment and adoption. You’ll document end-to-end current state, design target processes, and build a compelling case for change aligned with business goals. You’ll translate requirements into buildable designs with IT and Transformation Office, oversee testing and UAT, and ensure changes are adopted across operations and client-facing activities. You’ll contribute to client pitches and onboarding on accounting platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams to scale solutions. Responsibilities

• Deliver operating model and product change from problem to deployment and adoption
• Document current state end-to-end, identify root causes, design target state
• Build the case for change with quantified effort, risk and benefit
• Write and agree business requirements with IT and Transformation Office, support build and delivery
• Design, plan and execute testing including UAT and defect management
• Contribute operational input to client pitches, POCs and presentations
• Support implementation of fund structures, new client setups, complex transitions and onboarding
• Collaborate with Operations to ensure change is understood and adopted
• Assess reuse of redesigns across clients and document the case
• Produce project documentation and ad hoc analysis

Key requirements

• 8+ years’ experience in private assets accounting or operations
• Hands-on experience with process improvement, system implementation or project delivery
• Strong knowledge of private assets processes (GL, capital activity, fee and waterfall, financial statements, investor reporting)
• Strong analytical skills with data interrogation capability
• Client-facing confidence and ability to explain operational constraints
• Project management skills with attention to detail and multitasking
• Comfort engaging with operational teams and technology partners
• Strong written and verbal communication; advanced Excel skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics; professional accounting designation preferred
