Responsibilities

• Provide employment law advice to clients and prospective clients
• Manage Employment Tribunal matters with supervision where appropriate
• Draft and review contracts of employment
• Advise on disciplinary and grievance procedures
• Advise on TUPE matters
• Prepare bespoke contracts, secondment and consultancy agreements
• Advise on discrimination issues (disability, age, religion/belief, sex)
• Assist with termination negotiations and settlement agreements
• Consider pension implications
• Prepare cases for Tribunal hearings and advocate where appropriate
• Meet clients at premises or office locations
• Collaborate across the wider firm
• Support HR Consultants across multiple offices
• Contribute to business development and client contact initiatives
• Maintain CPD and develop specialist knowledge

Key requirements

• Experience in employment law during training or post qualification
