Warranty Audit Consultant

Overview

As Warranty Audit Consultant you will conduct in-depth reviews of dealer warranty operations across the UK to ensure accurate claims and compliance with official procedures. You will perform on-site audits, analyze historical warranty costs, and produce detailed reports that guide dealer improvements. The role involves frequent travel and overnight stays, working with a UK-based team to strengthen warranty performance for a major automotive client.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site warranty audits across the UK dealer network
• Analyze historical warranty cost performance
• Manually review selected paid claims and dealer documentation for compliance
• Advise dealers on warranty processes and manufacturer requirements
• Prepare and present detailed on-site audit reports and close-out meetings

Key requirements

• Minimum five years’ warranty experience or three years in technical/workshop roles with strong warranty/process knowledge
• Extensive knowledge of policy and procedure in workshops and warranty
• Ability to liaise with all levels within the dealer network
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage own workload and travel requirements

• Team player with proactive approach
• Attention to detail and strong numerical skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• PC literacy
• Knowledge of warranty policies and procedures
• Numerical analysis
