Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of clinical negligence and healthcare-related claims from instruction to resolution
• Advise insurers and insureds (hospitals, consultants, medical practitioners) on liability, quantum, and strategy
• Draft pleadings, witness statements, and instructions to experts and counsel
• Liaise with clients, experts, and barristers to ensure proactive case progression
• Assist senior partners on high-value and complex group actions
• Stay up to date with developments in healthcare law, case law, and industry practice

Key requirements

• Extensive clinical negligence claims experience at a senior level
• Alternative: transferable leadership/management skills from defence practice (EL/PL or car insurance)

• Strong communication and client liaison abilities
