Regional Lead - ABL Origination

Overview

In this role you drive Growth Finance opportunities across regions to meet or exceed targets, while managing risk within the bank’s appetite. You will build and maintain an introducer network and collaborate across Allica to ensure a cohesive regional approach. You contribute to product development and advocate the Growth Finance offering to colleagues, shaping how we serve established SMEs with working capital lending. This is a hands-on, stakeholder-heavy position in a fast-growing fintech-enabled bank.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to new business volume and income targets for Growth Finance.
• Assess opportunities with complete risk and mitigants before submission.
• Develop and maintain an introducer base including corporate finance professionals and brokers.
• Collaborate with Growth Finance and wider bank teams to ensure a cohesive regional approach.
• Work with internal teams to ensure seamless service and guide product/software development for customer value.
• Promote the Growth Finance product within the bank and maintain strong internal controls.

Key requirements

• Deep understanding of working capital financing in the SME sector.
• Experience in facility structuring and documentation.
• Established introducer network in Debt Advisory/Corporate Finance.
• Ability to interpret financial statements, forecast cash needs, and model sensitivities.
• Experience assessing collateral (receivables, inventory, real estate, fixed assets) and related risk controls.
• Strong stakeholder management and track record of building high-value relationships.
• Ability to structure lending proposals and write credit applications for balanced decisions.
