Responsibilities
Monitor activities supporting Project Quality Plans, Contractors' Quality Plans and Inspection and Test Plans
Assist project teams in developing ITPs, quality checklists and related documentation
Collaborate with site engineers to ensure consistent quality processes on site
Conduct inspections and audits to verify compliance with quality policies, procedures and contract requirements
Maintain accurate quality records and provide reports to project and client teams
Coordinate investigation and closure of non-conformities and improvement actions
Review contractor and supplier quality documentation (Quality Plans, pre-qualification information)
Provide quality guidance and coaching across 400kV+ substation and transmission and distribution projects
Key requirements
Experience in quality management within power distribution, transmission and distribution or major infrastructure projects
Relevant experience and qualifications related to HV and LV transmission and distribution systems
Strong understanding of QMS, QA processes and audit requirements
HNC, HND, degree or equivalent in Quality Management; engineering qualification desirable
CSCS card or competency card for site work
Excellent written and verbal communication with project teams, contractors and clients
Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Strong time management, attention to detail and problem-solving with mentoring ability
