Document Editor Team Lead

Overview

In this role you lead a technical documentation team to deliver GMP-compliant documents for manufacturing operations. You collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to plan, track, and improve document processes from MSAT to GMP manufacturing. You will coach and develop team members while ensuring quality, compliance, and on-time delivery. The position combines hands-on leadership with subject-matter expertise to support high-precision medicines manufacturing. Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and manage the Technical Administrative Team to support individual and group development
• Ensure timely and right-first-time delivery of GMP documentation meeting timelines and quality standards
• Coordinate document creation with stakeholders, resolve issues, manage changes, and meet customer requirements
• Provide guidance on document content, style, formatting, DMS, procedures, and GMP best practices
• Drive continuous improvement and strategic documentation initiatives to enhance processes and compliance
• Lead root cause investigations for documentation/process issues and implement effective solutions
• Maintain team compliance and capability, including training and upholding documentation standards

Key requirements

• A BSc in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline, or equivalent experience
• Strong people leadership, coaching, and performance management skills
• Excellent relationship-building, communication, and stakeholder collaboration
• Judgment and initiative to identify risks and resolve issues impacting quality, compliance, or delivery
• Proven track record delivering high-quality results under demanding timelines with accuracy and customer focus
• Experience growing high-performing teams with talent assessment and development opportunities
