In this role, you will manage a substantial caseload of defended litigation and asset recovery, acting for major finance houses. You’ll progress cases from pre-issue to enforcement and advise on strategy, while mentoring junior colleagues and supporting business development. The position offers real flexibility, with hybrid or part-time options and clear progression within a highly regarded, Legal 500-ranked firm. You will work closely with clients on complex debt recovery matters and contribute to a growing litigation and recoveries practice.

Responsibilities
Manage your own substantial caseload of defended litigation and asset recovery
Act for major finance houses, banks, and lenders on complex debt recovery
Progress litigation from pre-issue through to enforcement
Draft pleadings, evidence, and court documentation
Advise on strategy and commercial approach
Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to business development
Key requirements
3+ PQE
Strong background in Consumer Credit, Asset Finance or Defended Litigation
Confident managing your own caseload independently
Excellent client communication and commercial mindset
Able to mentor colleagues and contribute to team development
