Head of Pensions Investments & Treasury

Overview

In this senior role you will provide strategic leadership for Kingston and Sutton LGPS Pension Funds and the Treasury function within a shared finance service. You will work closely with elected Members, senior officers and external advisors to deliver strong investment outcomes and robust governance. The role involves committee and Pension Board engagement, and maintaining key relationships with investors and advisers. This is an opportunity to shape pensions strategy across two councils and influence funding decisions at scale.

Responsibilities

• Strategic leadership of the two LGPS funds and Treasury Management
• Deliver effective treasury management of cash and investments
• Represent the funds at committees and Pension Board meetings
• Manage relationships with London CIV, actuaries and external advisors
• Collaborate with Head of Pensions Administration to provide professional leadership
• Governance oversight to ensure high-quality service to Pension Fund members
• Opportunity to take on Senior Responsible Officer role for both funds (10% allowance)
