Commercial Property Solicitor

Overview

In this role you will support a growing Welsh law firm by handling a varied commercial property caseload. You will work closely with experienced colleagues to drive quality transactions and client relationships, contributing to the firm’s regional growth. You will tackle acquisitions, leases, and development work, providing strong drafting and negotiation to deliver client-focused outcomes. Responsibilities

• Manage a broad range of commercial property transactions including acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold properties
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial leases
• Handle landlord and tenant matters such as renewals, assignments and licences
• Contribute to property development and investment transactions
• Engage in property finance and secured lending activities
• Address easements, covenants, overage and title issues
• Build and develop relationships with clients and professional contacts

Key requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years' PQE in Commercial Property
• Experience handling a broad range of commercial property transactions
• Good knowledge of commercial leases and freehold acquisitions and disposals
• Strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to manage own caseload effectively
• Ambitious and keen to progress within a growing department
