In this role, you manage a varied caseload of high-value clinical negligence claims, spanning pre-issue and litigated matters, while upholding excellent client care. You will supervise and mentor a small team of case handlers, supporting their development through regular supervision and training. Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of complex, high-value clinical negligence claims (pre-issue and litigated)
• Work on technically challenging cases with a focus on client care and stakeholder relationships
• Supervise and mentor a small team of case handlers; conduct regular supervision meetings
• Assist with training and contribute to team development
• Coordinate with experts and other stakeholders to support case strategy
• Maintain organisation and leadership in a busy, demanding environment

Key requirements

• Strong claimant clinical negligence experience with proven litigation track record
• Solid understanding of CPR and clinical negligence law
• Experience with Legal Expenses Insurance, publicly funded work, or CFA arrangements is advantageous
• Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to supervise and support junior team members
