Responsibilities
Lead software and solution architecture for complex digital services
Set technical direction across multi‑team programmes
Design modern, scalable and resilient services
Provide architectural assurance across applications, integration, data, cloud, security and infrastructure
Advise senior and C‑level stakeholders on technology strategy and architecture
Lead modernisation of complex legacy technology estates
Establish architectural principles, standards and reusable patterns
Work across complex multi‑supplier environments
Mentor and develop architects and engineers
Contribute to bids, proposals, account strategy and business development
Key requirements
Extensive experience in the UK Public Sector, ideally UK Government
Strong technology consultancy background
Solid software engineering foundation with deep technical expertise
Proven experience delivering software/solution architecture for complex digital services
