Microsoft D365 Architect

Overview

In this role you lead end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform delivery for large enterprise clients from the MBG UK. You will design D365 solutions, govern architecture, and drive multi-team delivery across onshore, nearshore, and offshore models while engaging senior stakeholders. You’ll shape proposals, enable AI Copilot adoption, and ensure delivery excellence in complex transformation programmes. This is a senior, people-leadership position that blends technical depth with commercial acumen to deliver measurable business value.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end D365 solutions aligned to business strategy
• Lead architecture across D365 apps (Finance & Operations, Customer Engagement, Sales, Service, Supply Chain)
• Define integration, data migration, security, and extensibility strategies
• Leverage Power Platform, Dataverse, Azure and integration services for modern solutions
• ProvideTechnical leadership across implementation and transformation programmes
• Conduct architecture reviews and enforce Microsoft and enterprise best practices
• Lead and mentor technical teams and collaborate with functional consultants
• Engage with senior client stakeholders and support solution shaping, pre-sales and proposals

Key requirements

• Experience delivering Microsoft Power Platform or D365 programmes for enterprise clients
• Proven track record managing complex multi-workstream programmes
• Strong Agile and waterfall/hybrid delivery experience
• Experience leading distributed delivery teams (onshore/nearshore/offshore)
• Formal project/programme management certification (PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or MSP Practitioner)
• Strong D365 architecture, integrations, security, and data migration knowledge
• Experience with Power Platform, Dataverse and Azure
• Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management
• Desirable: Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications
