In this role you will be the technical and functional lead for the SAP ECC6 environment, ensuring stability, security, and alignment with business objectives. You will coordinate SAP and ERP-related initiatives, collaborate with stakeholders and external vendors, and drive improvements across modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, and PP. You will own the SAP roadmap, governance, and best practices while seeking automation and optimisation opportunities. This position sits in L3Harris UK’s Global Technology and Business Solutions team, supporting cross-system integrations and transformation efforts.

Responsibilities
Act as technical and functional lead for the Linux-based SAP ECC6 environment
Provide SAP support activities including incident management, root cause analysis, and system improvements
Guide SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, or other relevant areas
Ensure SAP platforms meet business, security, and compliance requirements
Own the SAP roadmap, performance, and stability
Define and maintain ERP governance, standards and best practices
Lead ERP system improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for automation and optimisation
Oversee integrations between SAP and other business systems
Support ERP-related projects including upgrades, enhancements, and system integrations
Coordinate external consultants and implementation partners when required
Manage relationships with SAP partners, support providers, and ERP vendors
Act as liaison between IT and business units regarding ERP capabilities and improvements
Maintain system documentation and support procedures
Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning for ERP platforms
Key requirements
SAP ECC6 experience
Knowledge of SAP FI/CO, MM, SD, PP modules
Experience with incident management and root cause analysis
Understanding of SAP security roles and SOX compliance
Ability to oversee ERP governance and system improvements
Vendor and stakeholder management experience
Experience with system integrations and project delivery
