Are you an experienced Registered Nurse looking for a rewarding day-shift position in a supportive nursing home?

We are recruiting for a Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join a well-established nursing home in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea, Northumberland.

This is an excellent opportunity for a caring, professional and clinically confident nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality care to elderly residents.

You will be joining a supportive nursing team with excellent management support, where your clinical skills, compassion and commitment to resident care will be genuinely valued.

Your Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse, you will play an important role in delivering the highest standards of nursing care while supporting residents' health, dignity, independence and wellbeing.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering safe, compassionate and person-centred nursing care
• Administering prescribed medication in accordance with NMC guidelines and company procedures
• Completing clinical assessments, care plans and accurate nursing documentation
• Monitoring residents' health and responding appropriately to changes in their condition
• Taking responsibility for the effective management of shifts when required
• Supervising and supporting care staff to maintain high standards of care
• Communicating effectively with residents, relatives and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals
• Maintaining professional knowledge and clinical competence in line with NMC requirements
• Promoting residents' dignity, safety and overall wellbeing

What We're Looking For

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC PIN – Essential
• Minimum 1 year's nursing home experience – Essential
• Strong clinical assessment and medication management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• Confidence in managing a shift and supporting care staff
• A compassionate, professional and resident-focused approach
• Ability to reliably commute to Newbiggin-by-the-Sea (NE64 6HN) or relocate before starting
• Existing right to work in the UK without employer sponsorship – Essential
