In this Senior Finance Business Partner role, you partner with senior stakeholders in the Contract Logistics arm to drive financial performance. You will deliver clear financial insight beyond reporting, challenge performance, identify opportunities, and support strategic decisions. The position can be based at the Ashby-de-la-Zouch head office or a Northamptonshire site, with a competitive package. You will influence profitability and risk management while working with cross-functional teams to enable growth.

Responsibilities
Produce weekly and monthly management accounts with accuracy and timely delivery, and secure agreement with the Business Controller
Partner with the Business Unit Director and operations to improve profitability and KPIs, driving commercial improvements
Maintain balance sheet control, including monthly reconciliations
Identify revenue opportunities with a customer-focused approach and manage contract risks
Take commercial ownership of the Business Unit, supporting bids, renewals, CAPEX/ICAP activity, and contract risk review
Coordinate with operations to set and agree monthly operating plans, highlighting key risks and contingencies
Support annual budgets and forecasts alongside operational management
Key requirements
Chartered accounting qualification – CIMA or ACCA
Experience in operational and customer-facing environment
Track record of identifying and implementing improvements
Strong commercial and business partnering skills with ability to influence decisions
Expert Excel skills
Strong numerical and analytical ability with data interpretation experience
Ability to develop multiple options to resolve complex problems
Commercial mindset

Clear communication and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
