Broker - North American & International Property

Overview

As the first hire in a newly launched North American property division, you will help shape the book from day one. You will place large and complex North American property risks in the London and Lloyd's market, and expand to international property business as the division grows. You own the end-to-end placement process with guidance from leadership, building strong underwriter relationships and turning US broker connections into bound business. You work in a collaborative, fast-moving environment with modern tools to reduce admin and focus on broking. Responsibilities

• Place large, complex North American property risks in London/Lloyd's market
• Expand to international property business outside Europe as the division grows
• Own the placement process from submission to binding (market approach, negotiation, structuring, documentation)
• Turn US broker relationships into bound business with Head of Property guidance
• Build and maintain strong underwriter relationships across Lloyd's and the London market
• Shape and evolve the role as the team grows

Key requirements

• Proven experience placing complex property risks in the London market, ideally North American business
• Strong underwriter relationships and market connectivity
• Confidence to work independently and lead placements
• Team player with a learning mindset and no ego
