Overview

In this Finance Business Partner role, you will collaborate with Retail Operations, Property, Procurement and Corporate Functions to turn financial insights into actionable decisions. You’ll join a newly formed team with clear ownership and visibility, helping shape how the business partners finance with the goal of driving performance. You’ll tackle budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis to identify risks and opportunities, and support cost optimisation. This role blends stakeholder influence with clear financial storytelling to improve business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to provide meaningful financial insight and challenge
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting activities
• Analyze performance, identify risks and opportunities, and drive impact
• Support cost optimisation initiatives and commercial decision-making
• Translate complex financial information into clear recommendations
• Deliver reporting and insights that improve business performance

Key requirements

• Experience in Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, Commercial Finance or Management Accounting in a large complex business
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis experience
• Experience influencing and challenging stakeholders at different levels
• Proven experience analyzing large volumes of data
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems
• A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or exam finalist
