Director of OD, Culture and Transformation

Overview

In this role, you will lead the OD, culture and people-centred transformation agenda to support RH2030s. You will partner with executive leaders to diagnose challenges, design practical solutions, and ensure change is adopted with people and culture at the core. You will strengthen organisation design, leadership capability and the teams delivering internal consultancy. This is a strategic, pressurized role at a large complex organisation with a strong focus on outcomes and transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the university's OD, culture and people-centred transformation agenda
• Shape organisation design to boost effectiveness, collaboration and accountability
• Develop frameworks and tools for sustainable change
• Build leadership and management capability for complex change
• Enable leaders to engage teams, address cultural barriers and embed new ways of working
• Use workforce data to prioritise activity and evaluate impact
• Lead and develop a high-performing OD and Change team with internal consultancy capability

Key requirements

• Significant senior-level experience across organisational development, culture and transformation
• Expertise in organisation design, leadership effectiveness, culture change and change adoption
• Experience leading people-centred dimensions of major organisational change
• Strong diagnostic, analytical and systems-thinking capability
• Credibility to influence Executive and senior leaders
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and translate strategy into action
• Experience building high-performing specialist teams and internal consultancy capability
• Higher education experience welcome but not essential; background in complex, people-centred organisations
