Order To Cash Accountant with French

Overview

In this Order-to-Cash Accountant role, you support the European OTC team to ensure accurate billing for recurring revenue. You manage maintenance contracts in a bespoke ERP system, handling invoicing, revenue recognition, and reconciliations. You’ll drive end-to-end OTC processes, perform variance analysis, and enable reporting and KPIs. This position offers cross-functional collaboration and a chance to impact financial operations across a global organization.

Responsibilities

• Set up customer maintenance contracts in the ERP system according to orders
• Invoicing for License/Cloud/Maintenance and recurring revenue products
• Quality assurance for subscription calculations and invoicing
• Revenue and direct cost accruals including partner commissions
• Variance analysis for all recurring revenue
• Enable ad-hoc, monthly and annual BI reporting and KPIs
• Train and support team members and Market Units
• Partner with Sales and Consulting; manage stakeholder communications
• Coordinate with Finance for accounting, financial reporting, and revenue settlements
• Assist Accounts Receivable and Cash Collections duties

Key requirements

• Bachelor or Master in Accounting and Finance, Economics or Business Administration
• 3+ years of accounting experience including invoicing
• Proven ERP experience with OTC processes; preferably IFS
• Commercial education with expertise in IT/software industry preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; organized and results-focused
• Good analytical and problem-solving mindset; proactive initiative
• English and French language proficiency; IFRS15/US/France GAAP certifications a plus
