​​Distribution Sales Manager​ - Europe

Overview

In this role you shape Europe’s distribution channel strategy to drive multi-partner revenue growth. You orchestrate 3–4 strategic distributor partners while supporting major Tier 1 and Tier 2 accounts, enabling scalable impact across the continent. You’ll leverage data-driven reviews to guide decisions, coach partners, and push toward ambitious revenue and forecast targets. This position offers high strategic influence and an opportunity to shape Semtech’s growth in Europe through partnership excellence and market insight.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow $30M+ in distribution revenue with full quota accountability
• Manage 3–4 strategic distributor partners as if they were multi-million dollar accounts
• Drive performance through data-backed QBRs and scorecards and take action when targets aren’t met
• Build distributor capability via training, coaching, and influencing partner hiring and investment decisions
• Forecast with >90% accuracy through disciplined pipeline and backlog management
• Negotiate complex commission structures and territory conflicts while protecting margins and relationships
• Coordinate with FAEs, product management, and marketing to pursue major opportunities
• Provide market insight to inform Semtech’s product roadmap
• Travel 30–40% within Europe to build strong relationships

Key requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 7+ years in distribution management or channel sales within semiconductor/technology industries with a track record of improving partner performance
• Experience managing $30M+ in distribution revenue with >90% forecast accuracy and >110% quota attainment
• Established distributor relationships
• Proven ability to navigate multi-stakeholder channel conflicts and complex territory restructuring without damaging relationships
