Audit Resourcing Associate

Overview

In this role within GCS’s Operational Excellence Hub, you lead resourcing for Audit engagements, ensuring staff allocations meet quality and regulatory needs. You’ll partner with engagement teams, resourcing colleagues, and support functions to plan, fill gaps, and maintain checks and documentation. The role supports efficiency and accuracy in resource planning and reporting, contributing to the firm’s productivity and profitability. You will engage cross-functionally to optimise workforce pools and provide operational insights for leadership.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staff allocations to engagements to ensure appropriate staffing and high-quality audits
• Deliver annual forward planning for resourcing in the required format with Audit leadership
• Identify resource gaps and coordinate practical solutions to fill them
• Create and update bookings in ProFinda and maintain reliable resourcing data
• Collaborate with KPMG Global Services teams supporting resourcing and departmental activity
• Identify staff with available capacity and promote fair allocation across engagements
• Complete System of Quality Management checks and documentation when assigning staff to audits
• Provide operational insights to managers to optimise workforce and resource pools

Key requirements

• Experience in professional services resourcing, resource management, operations or workforce planning
• Attention to detail in administrative processes
• Ability to coordinate priorities and maintain accuracy in a changing environment
• Clear written and verbal communication with stake holder relationships
• Problem-solving abilities including stakeholder influence and outcome facilitation
• Experience using Microsoft Office; experience with resource management or finance systems is desirable
