Senior Engagement Lead sought to steer a major government transformation programme. You will provide delivery leadership, governance oversight and strategic assurance across multiple workstreams. You’ll work with executive-level stakeholders to align objectives, manage dependencies and drive benefits realisation. The role focuses on governance, risk management and ensuring successful delivery across large-scale public sector change. You will shape programme planning, decision-making and cross-partner collaboration.
Responsibilities
Provide overall delivery leadership across multiple programme workstreams
Ensure strategic alignment between programme objectives, delivery teams and stakeholders
Lead governance, assurance and quality management activities
Manage senior stakeholder relationships across government and delivery partners
Oversee programme dependencies, risks and escalation management
Drive benefits realisation and ensure delivery outcomes are achieved
Chair governance forums and support executive decision-making
Provide leadership and assurance across programme planning and execution
Key requirements
Proven experience leading large-scale transformation programmes within Central Government
Experience at Managing Director, Programme Director or equivalent level
Strong governance, assurance and programme leadership expertise
Experience managing complex stakeholder environments and multiple delivery partners
Track record delivering multi-workstream change programmes
Strong understanding of benefits management, strategic planning and programme controls
